Shaun McMahan

In May 2005, Shaun founded DBA McMahan Asset Management because he wanted to offer clients superior service with a personal connection. Our mission is: To provide clients sound, comprehensive financial guidance and assist them in pursuing their dreams.

Shaun began his planning career in 1996 with a large financial services company. After many years and many experiences, Shaun decided to launch on his own to better meet his clients' needs. 

Growing up in Seattle, he attended Roosevelt High School and received a BA in finance and marketing from the University of Washington. He also holds Chartered Life Underwriter^® (CLU^®) and Chartered Financial Consultant^® (ChFC^®) designations through the American College.

Shaun and his wife, Debbie, live on Cougar Mountain with their three children. They are both active in the kids' sports and schools. In his free time, Shaun enjoys water and snow skiing, mountain biking, and hiking with his family. As a 100 ton USCG Master Captain, Shaun and the family also spend as much time as they can cruising the PNW waters.
